David Jin, PhD, Executive Director and Chief Technology Officer, Shanghai Grand Renewable Energy Ltd. 

Dr. David Jin is the Executive Director and Chief Technology Officer of Shanghai Grand Renewable Energy Ltd., of Shanghai. Shanghai Grand Renewable Energy Ltd. (www.sinano.net), is a leader in the fields of renewable energy, energy storage and green technologies in China and the world.

Dr. Jin has over 20 years of working experience in the areas of solar energy, energy saving and new materials development. He has worked at Applied Materials Inc. in Silicon Valley as an engineer for over ten years. Dr. Jin has worked in innovative new energy companies as project manager and division manager. He has also helped major companies set up production lines in countries other than China. In recent years Dr. Jin has focused on the reuse of industrial waste materials and agricultural waste.

Dr. Jin graduated from JiaoTong University, Shanghai, with Bachelors and Masters degrees in Electronics Engineering. He received a Ph.D. in Materials Science from Oregon State University.

Dr. Jin is a resident of Shanghai.
